Anonymous: "i'm sure you didn't write wygigwysis as a love story between the two main characters, but i can see where people may get that. i am not going to say i would go full out like most people on this website and say "YES YES OTP I SHIP IT PERFECT COUPLE" but i can't deny a certain level of, i guess adoration for the two characters. and if it's based off your real life selves, well that's a great friendship i'm sure. not romantic love, but i can't say there isn't some kind of love there."
Oh, no I can definitely see your point here. And I’ve learned from being apart of fandoms that people can take it out of proportion on here when it comes to characters and shipping. WYGIGWYSIS is not a romantic love story, nor will it ever be for the two main characters. But I’ll try to say this without sounding odd… I agree there is love there. The kind of love you can share between a best friend is completely different than romantic love, and I believe sometimes far more important. It’s even close to the love of a sibling. Just like for my ACTUAL sister, I would do anything for Sam. Despite whatever we go through, I will always love and care about her, and even though this story began as an interesting idea based on a dream, it really does show what we’re like, and the situations we face in the story are definitely far from real life, but the “I’m there for you” is real. So no, no romantic love, but yeah, I can agree that there is love. And there’s nothing wrong with admitting that. We may not tell each other that all the time, but I know it’s there. A best friend you can connect with like this, is important. And should be treasured.
And if she sees this she can make fun of me for being so very lame, lol.
So, this idea came from my best friend telling me she found Lara Croft on tv, right when Daniel Craig is in the shower. I of course being the asshole that I am, and it had been Valentines Day, responded with “wouldn’t it be great to wake up to Daniel Craig in your shower on valentines day? ;)” and she proceeded to say, that could make an interesting idea for a story. What did she do next? Planted the idea in my head by starting the story off and saying I should write the rest. Thankfully, I immediately thought of a song as a prompt, and the devilish/teasing writer in me enjoyed this one. ;) Also, watch me make millions off our sad and pathetic dreams of celebrities, or dream jobs, lol.
And if you couldn’t tell, she’s been my muse for most writing
